Report Usage Metrics Dataset connect to AAS
- 8 years ago
Hi Anonymous,
We could make a copy of Report Usage Metrics in Power BI Service, then connect to Power BI Service in Power BI Desktop and select Dashboard Usage Metrics Model or Report Usage Metrics Model you have created, then you could get the dataset of the Report Usage Metrics.

Cherry
Thanks!
But what I really need is to copy the dataset of the Usage Metrics so I can manipulate it's data or created calculated columns.

Advocate I
Did this work for you? I made a copy of the report but cannot connect to it's dataset. I am able to connect to any other dataset I have created but the usage metrics seem different.
Get the following message:
An error occurred while loading the model for the item or data source 'OpenConnectionError'. Verify that the connection information is correct and that you have permissions to access the data source.
I have given myself read/reshare privileges on this dataset.
