Renaming Power BI App Workspace Issues

“When I renamed it, I recieved errors for data in the the dashboards when I had a dataset combined with another dataset or a dataset combined with another data source (Ex. - dataflow, excel file, etc.)” . You mean, you renamed the workspace, and then merged the data in the datasets, and an error occurred? What exactly is your merge operation? Can you show it in the form of screenshots?

In fact, each workspace has a unique ID, and that's what's in the URL. The name is not actually part of the URL, so renaming should be no problem. Maybe you can sign out your account and clear the browser cache , then login in again and try your merge operation again .
