Hi all - I am renamining an App Workspace I have to a new name due to organization updates which require it to be renamed. Within the workspace, I have some datasets, dataflows, etc. When I renamed it, I recieved errors for data in the the dashboards when I had a dataset combined with another dataset or a dataset combined with another data source (Ex. - dataflow, excel file, etc.). I thought that it was okay to rename a workspace and there would be no impacts. If anyone else has experienced this, what are options for work arounds?

Hi @Anonymous
“When I renamed it, I recieved errors for data in the the dashboards when I had a dataset combined with another dataset or a dataset combined with another data source (Ex. - dataflow, excel file, etc.)” . You mean, you renamed the workspace, and then merged the data in the datasets, and an error occurred? What exactly is your merge operation? Can you show it in the form of screenshots?
In fact, each workspace has a unique ID, and that's what's in the URL. The name is not actually part of the URL, so renaming should be no problem. Maybe you can sign out your account and clear the browser cache , then login in again and try your merge operation again .

@Anonymous I'm actually surprised that you are seeing the error. When you said "dashboard", you have created a dashboard by pinning the visuals, correcT? Just want to confirm. Do the reports works?

So the reports do not work either. I am getting an error that the Workspace Name cannot be found for the datasets when combined with other sources or other datasets.
