Hello All,
Good day!
I am trying to enable the Fabric link to the dataverse :
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/azure-synapse-link-view-in-fabric
I am using the same account to login to power platform and Powerbi of the same tenant :
power platform : East Asia

Power BI : Southeast Asia

Any reason why the regions are different across powerbi and power platform for the same id and same tenant?
And any idea how I can move either of them to the other region if possible?
Solved! Go to Solution.
As Power platform envrionment regions are very limited, as a solution created a fabric capacity in Azure Portal in the same region as Power platform envrionemnt region and created a workspace in Power BI mapping to that capacity

Hi @NandanHegde ,
The difference in regions between Power Platform and Power BI when using the same account and tenant can occur because the services may have been set up in different regions at the time of registration or due to specific data residency requirements for each service. The region for Power BI data is determined at sign-up and is specific to Power BI resources, while Power Platform might have its own regional considerations based on where its services are deployed.
To align the regions for Power Platform and Power BI, you would need to undertake a tenant migration, which is a structured process. For Power BI, this involves meeting certain prerequisites and following a detailed process with support coordination. Please refer : Move Power BI between regions - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hey @Anonymous
There is no way possible to move the region of the Fabric Capacity and there is no option to create an environment in Power automate within Southeast Asia region.
So how to procced on this?
