Refresh problem in Power BI Service
Hi tpham ,
The error message suggests that there is an issue with the connection to the cloud SharePoint data source.
- The data source credentials are not valid or have expired. Check the credentials for the cloud SharePoint data source in Power BI. Make sure that the credentials are up to date and have the necessary permissions to access the data.
- The gateway is not configured properly or is outdated. You can check the gateway settings and update it to the latest version if needed. Check the network settings for the on-premise SharePoint data source. Ensure that the gateway is properly configured and that the necessary ports are open for data transfer.
You may also want to try refreshing the data manually to see if the issue persists. If it does, please provide more details.

Thanks for your reply,
Regarding the credentials for the cloud SharePoint, It is valide and works well if data is merged with on-premise sharepoint. the hypothesis is irgnored
The gateway is not configured properly or is outdated=> If this hypothesis is correct, I don't undersand why it work well when I don't merge the on-premise data with cloud data ?
I checked the option " Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster" in gateway as this photo below (sorry this photo in french). But the data refresh doesn't work in Power BI Service ( but it works well in Power BI Desktop).
Do you have the same case in your project ?
Thanks in advance for your suggestion
