Refresh Error in power bi services

Hello, this morning I have many unexplicated errors. 

Some of my semantics models can't refresh. Scheduled or manual refresh fails. (But some of them are ok despite the fact of the resfresh time is nearly the same, and gateway is the same).

Can't open an Power Bi report on power bi services, connection error with analysis services , the same report works for years with no problem , and if I open the report localy (on my PC) it works...try to re upload the rdl I got an error too :

While refreshing my dataset in UAT everything went well, but when I wanted to refresh my dataset in PROD, I had this error message :

Thank you for letting us know about this issue. After reviewing the error, it appears the refresh in PROD is failing because of a connectivity problem with the data source endpoint. Power BI is attempting to connect to

 https://10-244-8-137.ip:8443/...

but the response is not as expected.

Since UAT is functioning correctly, this suggests there may be a difference in network configuration between the environments, such as a firewall rule, DNS resolution issue, or gateway routing setup.

To address this, we can

1. Check if the endpoint is accessible from the PROD gateway

2. Review any recent changes to the gateway or VNet configuration

3. Compare gateway settings between UAT and PROD

ERROR 500

You're getting this error:

"The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue…"

And now you're unable to refresh data or share reports — this is a critical issue and very frustrating, especially since it has lasted more than 2 days.

Hey,

same here in Isère, no rapports are updated since Wednesday. 

 

Service status notification says we should expect it to be resolved by 4th of August, Monday.

Hi @Yogi785 ,

It’s best to wait a bit longer, as this seems to be a service related issue. Please keep an eye on the Microsoft Fabric Service Health page for any updates. You can also try refreshing your models from time to time, as these issues usually resolve once the service is stable again.

- Refresh by Azure Synapse Pipeline doesn't work
- manuel refresh on Power Bi Service of a semantic model doesn't work
- publish a new report from power bi desktop gives me an error code 500 :

Problem is still here...
Cannot refresh data 
Cannot download Report
Cannot upload new report

Please wait a bit longer while the service stabilizes. You can monitor the Microsoft Fabric Service Health dashboard and retry the refresh occasionally, as the issue is likely to resolve on its own.

Power BI is unable to connect to your data source due to a known issue in the France Central region. It could be a temporary outage, gateway issue, or expired credentials. Wait for the service to stabilise, and then retry or check gateway and credentials if needed.
