Randomly Generated (and Invalid!) Data Labels when Printing to PDF

When I print a report to PDF, my filters remain (and the distribution of values prints correctly in bar/column charts) but my data labels are random and incorrect, and include characters like <>:;. I'm not sure where these labels are being derived from, because they don't align with any data slice.
