Query caching in Power BI Premium/Embedded & datasets on Direct Query mode

Hi

I would like to know please how this typical dataset setup works (on a premium Workspace) 
: Query caching  is enabled (ON)  

Typically if the data integration mode of the dataset is direct query 

So when is the cache cleaned up, please  ?  Can we plan the cleaning ?

I have trouble understanding this functionality in import & DQ mode  ;>)

Hi @Bamak 

This caching only applies on the users browser cache. It does not actually apply to the dataset (in your example with DirectQuery).

As far as I know if the user has to clear the cache for app.powerbi.com it will then clear the cache.

You could also change the setting from On to Off which would also clear the cache.
