Publish to Web URL Bookmark Parameter

Hi User_605
As mentioned by currently, Power BI's "Publish to Web" feature does not support passing bookmark GUIDs or other URL parameters to control report views. This limitation means that dynamically linking to specific bookmarks or filtering data via URL parameters isn't feasible with publicly published reports.
For scenarios requiring such functionality, consider using Power BI's secure embedding options, like "Embed" or "Embed in SharePoint Online." These methods support URL parameters, allowing for dynamic control over report views and filters. Additionally, they ensure that all permissions and data security are enforced when users view your reports.

Hi v-csrikanth,
Thank you for the information.
As a public sector worker aiming to make reports truly accessible, I find it interesting that Power BI's "Publish to Web" feature doesn't support passing bookmark GUIDs or URL parameters (i.e., to have links on our website to different “bookmark” report views). Internally, sharing bookmarks via URLs is straightforward, so it's disappointing that this isn't as easily achievable for public dashboards, especially when there are specific navigation buttons for bookmarks (like pages), and you can pass a page name into a public report URL.
