Hello,
Problem after purchasing a pro license, because the account to which the license is assigned keeps displaying the message "Buy license"
In port 365 I assigned the purchased license to this user. Where is problem?

Hi @sgintowt,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
After reviewing the details you provided, I have identified few workarounds that may help resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:
The issue arises because the Power BI Pro license assigned to the user is not being recognized. This may be due to license assignment delays, incorrect license assignment, or the user being signed into the wrong account (personal instead of work). Browser cache issues could also cause outdated data to persist. Additionally, Power BI tenant settings, Microsoft 365 sync issues, or Azure AD permission restrictions might be blocking access. Reviewing these factors will help identify and resolve the problem.
Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Navigate to Users > Active Users. Search for the affected user and click on their name. Under Licenses and Apps, ensure that Power BI Pro is checked and assigned to the user. If the license is missing, assign it again and save changes.
log out of Power BI and log back in using the correct work or school account (not a personal Microsoft account). To check the logged-in account: Open Power BI Service, click on the profile icon (top right corner) and confirm the correct email address is shown. Sometimes, license changes take time to sync across Microsoft services. Wait at least 15-30 minutes, then ask the user to try again. If urgent, try signing out and signing back in.
Open Power BI in an Incognito/Private window and check if the issue persists. If the license appears correctly in incognito mode, clear the browser cache. In Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + Delete → Clear cache and cookies. In Edge: Ctrl + Shift + Delete → Clear browsing data. If the issue persists, a Power BI admin should check. Open Power BI Admin Portal. Under Tenant settings, check if there are any restrictions related to license enforcement.
Verify Azure AD Sync Issues (For IT Admins) Go to Azure Active Directory. Check if the user is part of the correct group or role that allows access to Power BI Pro. If needed, force a sync to update the user’s license status.
If none of the above step’s work: In Microsoft 365 Admin Center, remove the Power BI Pro license from the user. Wait 5-10 minutes and reassign the license. Ask the user to sign out and sign back into Power BI.
If the user is assigned a Power BI Free license instead of Pro, they may still see the "Buy License" message. Checking the exact license type in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center could help.
