Pro/Free user viewing Premium User Reports

I have a dataflow that needs Premium workplace to refresh, I then used that dataflow in Desktop, and then load it back into a Regular workplace for my colleagues. However, it won't refresh! Is there ...

    Hi dinoscool3 ,

     

    If you want to share with free users, you must ensure that the workspace is in premium capacity instead of ppu capacity. To use PPU workspace, you must ensure that everyone has a PPU licence.

     

    It‘s by design. We can see the known limitations in the article on Dataflow in Premium. 

    • When a dataflow is refreshed in a Premium Per User (PPU) context, the data is not visible to non-PPU users

Thanks. That's a real shame, and to confirm you can't set a workspace to premium capacity with a PPU liscense?

No, PPU is premium per user, although workspace set for PPU is greatly convenient, but it's still not matchable with Premium capacity workspace. Compare the price between the two, you will understand why.
