  • Hi,

Thanks to all of you freinds who had tried to resolve my problem. The best part is i had tried it in different way i.e. I had changed my workspace to PowerBI original "My Workspess" and the free users are able to see the report without any license.

I am requesting all of the you that please help me if can, that when i am shifting my data to My Workspace the sematic module sharing not possible.

    Thanks

  • Hi shaileshmishra

For free users to be able to view reports, the report needs to be in a workspace attached to an F64 or higher capacity.

SKUs smaller than F64 require a Power BI Pro or Premium Per User license for each user consuming Power BI content. Content in workspaces on F64 or larger Fabric capacities is available for users with a Free license if they have viewer role on the workspace.

        Hi shaileshmishra

In order for free users to be able to view the reports, the workspace needs to be attached to an F64 or higher capacity.

That is the only way to share things with free users right now, unless you make a public web link that is accessible by anyone on the internet.

  • Hi shaileshmishra,

What’s happening is a licensing change between Pro and Premium Per User (PPU).

    • Reports in a PPU workspace can only be viewed by users who also have a PPU license.
    • That’s why your free users now get the “please purchase” message — PPU isn’t the same as Premium capacity.

Options to share with free users:

    • Publish the report to a workspace backed by Premium capacity (P SKUs or F SKUs) → then free users can view it.
    • Or assign your colleagues a PPU trial/PPU license if you want to keep using the PPU workspace.
    • Or downgrade back to Pro, which I assume is not an option as there might be reasons for changing the license

    Best regards!
