Premium Per User trial messed everything up

So I have a workspace that is only Data Flows that connect to our various dbs via ODBC connection string.  All of our reports use these data flows as their data sources (over 200). This morning I decided to do the PPU trial. I upgraded the Data Flow workspace to Premium, enabled incremental refresh on several entities in one of the flows and the data flows refreshed fine. But then all the reports that use these data flows failed.  So I turned off Premium for the Data Flow workspace. The reports started refreshing successfully. But then the data flows wouldn't refresh. So then I turned off the incremental refreshes on the entities I set them on. Tried to refresh again. No dice. The error I get says "this data flow contains entities that require Premium to refresh...". Did some digging around and found that a default setting of Premium is Enhanced Compute Engine Settings = Optimized. The only way to reset this to Disabled is to turn Premium back on and change it. So i did that. Changed them all to disabled for every entity in every data flow. Then turned Premium off again. Still get the error. There must be some default settings that are enabled when you switch a workspace to Premium that don't revert back when you turn off Premium. I'm at a loss.
