PowerBI export feature for classic SharePoint

Hi everyone, 

 

 

Does any one know if the classic SharePoint CWP work with PowerBI's export data feature? I know you can view the dashboard with the CWP. The export data to excel feature seem to be an exclusive with the PowerBI embeded webpart, right?

    theaulait,

    I am not very clear about your requirement, do you embed Power BI report to SharePoint Online following the guide in this article? And do you want to know if you can export data to Excel in this case?

    If so, based on my test, export data feature works as expected.

      Yes, I'm referring to export data to excel. I was only able to get the view version to work not the embeded one. When I use the embeded version nothing returns.
