PowerBI Server cannot set scheduled refresh

I started to realize yesterday that I couldn't set up scheduled refresh for semantic models published to the server, and this problem still exists today
I have checked the credentials and connection of the data source, and there is no need for a gateway. Moreover, I am the admin of the workspace, so there is no situation of insufficient permissions. After testing, another report with a small amount of data cannot be set to refresh on a scheduled basis. However, I can successfully refresh it manually, so I am more suspicious that the information from the server frontend cannot be synchronized to the backend for saving. When can this problem be fixed

    Hi Guo,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.

Thank you for providing the details. Since manual refresh completes successfully, this dos not look like data source, credentials, gateway or workspace permissions issue. This looks like the service is failing to save the scheduled refresh configuration. Please follow below:

    • Open the semantic model settings in an incognito or private window or a different browser and try enabling scheduled refresh again.
    • Clear the browser cache and disable any extensions and then retry once

If the issue still persists, it is likely a service side problem rather than a dataset configuration issue. I recommend opening a Microsoft Fabric Support ticket and include all the error details, so that the team can investigate the backend logs.
