I'm a little confused by this, it does not a physical server sitting in our organizations IT Room correct? If not then how can I say that the data is not in the cloud?
Does it also need someone to maintain, someone with knowledge of PowerBI Reporting Server?
If my questions don't even makes any sense, could you please educate someone like me here? How does this work?
Is there a PowerBI Report Server training available or that's yet to come? Unfortunately I have limited access now - can't research about this.

Power BI Reporting Server is basically SQL Server Enteprise Edition. It is a feature. Therefore, you could install this on a physical machine in your data center if you so choose. And yes, it needs to be maintained just like any other SQL Server.
