Hi everyone,
Our Premium Capacity App fails to refresh since yesterday. The error messages differ, so I don't think the reason is one specific table.
Anyone else experiencing similar problems?
The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support.
Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'https://api.powerbi.com/capacities/201806/FB1741C9-619C-42B8-B00A-87A3110BF560/metrics/dataflowOpera...' (500): Internal Server Error. The exception was raised by the IDataReader interface. Please review the error message and provider documentation for further information and corrective action. Table: DataflowOperations.
Hi. Yesterday some microsoft server were experiencing failures. You can try again and see what happen. On the other hand I had a similar problem in the past. The report had a weird cache that wouldn't let me refresh. My solution was changing the pbix name and publish like a new one.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
Hi,
thanks for your reply.
I have a scheduled refresh for this dataset which keeps failing once an hour. So "trying again" doesn't work unfortunately 🙂
Regarding publishing the report as a copy: This is a report published by Microsoft. I guess I'm not able to republish it or make any changes to the underlying dataset? After all this is an official App from Microsoft, so I expect it to work.
If that's an App from the market try adding it again to the tenant. Remember you can now download the .pbix of the datasets installed from AppSource. That might help refreshing from desktop and see if there is an error you can fix before Microsoft and start owning the dataset.
Regards,
Happy to help!
