Power Point power bi plugin missing, static image
Hi People, I am trying to get my organisation to stop blocking the Power point add in app in my organisation, i almost got the green light, when i was made aware, that any power point embeded with...
It turns out, it's actually a Power Point Behaviour upon Further Investigation, Power point will take static snapshots of each slide preview and update them when you have your slide open with the dashboard.
Unless you hide or change it it will save a thumbnail into the pptx folder structure for the presentation folder and display it in the thumbnail untill updated by a user who may not have access to the Power Bi report.
Unfortuantly due to low trust on people self governing leaving critical data in a slide pack. This feature of power point will hold back the functionaility in many organisations. (as you cant disable it)
