Power BI service report does not refresh

Greetings,

 

we setup data connection to SQL server using import mode, installed the on-premise gateway and created a model in Power BI dekstop mode. Created a scheduled refresh of this data set.

 

The data set in dekstop app refreshes alongside its visuals,

The data set in service app refreshes manually and with scheduled refresh,

The report stemming from this data set does NOT refresh.

 

For example we have data coming in on 13PM, scheduled refresh is set on 13PM, it refreshes

But the report associated to this data does not change, does not refresh,

 

Any ideas what's going on here? We want to share this to the end-user, but we cannot, since the report does not reflect the data provided,

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    Do you mean your source is getting refreshed at 1PM then you should keep some gap between source refresh and your dataset refresh. Sometimes source can take time to complete that and that could be one of the reason, when your dataset is hitting the source it is still not completed. Try the refresh wth 15-30 mins delay.

    Anonymous if you design the report using Power BI Desktop, connecting datasource directly from SQL server, then publish to Power BI Service; then this report required setting at Gateway to collect data.

    To access Gateway connection setting, at the workspace, select elipse button next to the dataset name,

    then setting > first option is as below:
