Hi,
I have encouraged a client to start using the Power BI service. They uploaded a small dataset, however when they sign in, the screen is not loading properly and they are unable to perform any tasks. The screenshot below, shows that the arrows in the Navigation Pane are not displayed and the buttons are greyed out. We have tried relaunching the browser, clearing the cache, restarting the machine etc. They are using Internet Explorer and due to policy cannot use another browser.
Thanks.
HI @MAR1 - Looks like you have connected to Excel Online and this is what appeared on the dashboard ?
You need to use import option to connect to Excel, which will appear under datasets (not workbooks) and you can create reports and dashboards from it. See this documentation , When you load workbooks, you can pin the visuals from Excel to Dashboard.
Unfortunately, the screen is frozen. When they click on My Workspace, nothing happens. They cannot get to the underlying data.
The screen is getting frozen for me too. the workaround is to click on some other workspace and click on my workspace again.. or just click around and see that the workspace shows the reports within.
The screenshot you sent seems to be a "dashboard" created from workbook or an excel dataset. Check in the left side pane, go to datasets and create reports, then ping visuals to dashboard if you want to view the dashboard.
