Power BI report subscription delivery

Does anyone know what "Power BI report subscription delivery - " has started appearing in the Subject line of subscription emails from Jan 29th 2026?

It just fills the subscription line in the email list, so you can't see what the email is actually about.

It also seems redundant, as the email comes from Microsoft Power BI

This just seems like overkill... Who's the genius at Microsoft that's getting paid a fortune to come up with needless changes, rather than focusing on the key improvements that this forum's members are screaming for?

I agree. Please roll this change back Microsoft, or at least give us a way to modify it if we don't want it.

Broke PA flow which was reading Email subject, I had to update the condition in PA flow to incorporate this change. Now everything is back to normal.

This may also cause an issue when using Power Automate to forward subscriptions based on subject line.  This change is ill-advised.

Same issue here.  We monitor for PBI subscription emails based on the subject line.  Of course those monitoring rules are all going to fail now that the subject line no longer matches the exact subject entered on a subscription definition.

Roll this change back, please.

Came running after seeing today's subscriptions, also it has started today after 7 a.m. UTC, subscriptions before that were okay.

Looks like they changed it between 2sm and 5am Eastern Time US. I have reports that came in around 2:47am with the prefix and reports around 5am that don't

Same here and the business is chasing me as they do not want it...

Any news on how to take it down and/or why was set up??

Same for me. If it is an active decision and not a bug/mistake then I will be taking the whole business away from PowerBI.
