Power BI license
Hello,
We have a Power BI app at “Versiti.org” and we shared it with people at “Gundersonhealth.org”. We created O365 accounts within Versiti.org for Gunderson users with their work emails ([email protected]) and gave these accounts permission to this app. Gunderson health does have enterprise license for Power BI.
The Gunderson users can get to the App location, but they were asked to purchase Power BI license. Please see the error attached below.
Can you help us see what we are missing?
Thank you,
Xin
If by "Enterprise license", you meant Premium Capacity. Then you need to make sure the workspace that ishosting the app has Premium Capacity assigned to it.
ie. Versiti.org must have premium capacity on the workspace that hosting the app.
OR
Gunderson must have Pro license assigned to the user account on Gunderson side. In this case, Gunderson's premium capacity doesnt work, because the app is on VersitiRefer this post for assigning premium capacity

Thank you very much, Tutu, for the information. This helps.
We do not have Premium capacity at Versiti. So we have to go with the second option. Can Pro license only be assigned to the user accounts on Gunderson side? Or can it be done on Versiti side to the O365 account within Versiti?
Thanks again

The license has to be assigned on Gunderson side.
