Power BI Service Refresh from Shared OneDrive

hi guys, hope you are well.

I have developed a dashbaord that connects to a onedrive folder. Power BI conencts to an excel spreadsheet whereby the uses can update their data (% completed of a task). The problem is on the Power BI service the data does not refresh and i have to republish the dashboard to the service. How can i ensure that once data updates in excel occur that the dashboard will refresh?

    Hey harpedb ,

     

    can you show the query that you used?

    Did you connect on the local onedrive path (C:\users\...) or on OneDrive via Web?

    Is your problem been solved? Have you connected to the gateway in the service and set refresh?
