Power BI Service Refresh Failure: OAuth authentication method isn't supported for this data source
Sometime after 2:45pm EST today we started to receive this error on every report refresh. Anyone else? I can refresh locally fine.
Hi everyone,
I had this issue as well today, but noticed that as soon as I took over the semantic model it started to work again.
That might be helpful for some.

I got same error this afternoon!! Dataset refresh okay. Have raised a ticket to IT Admin and Microsoft support team.

Hey, we are seeing the same issue on our end trying to connect to dataflows/semantic models.

I'm not getting OAuth issues, but I and several others on Reddit are reporting issues with semantic model refreshes such as the following:
Data source error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: <Random table name from my data set>.
My gut says this is something on the MS side

Same issue with OAuth error. Happening with imported model from SSAS
Direct Query on SSAS seems fine

we are facing same issue, getting this on our Fabric Capcity Metrics:
and similar errors mentioned earlier:
Data source error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: <Random table name from my data set>. - ETorresTFrequent Visitor
We are also getting the same issue that started just today. IT is happening with some reports and can' t pinpoint the source causing it.
