Hi Experts,
I published my report to My Personal Workspace in Power BI Service and tried to refresh the data semantic model to get the latest data. However, it returned an error.
Next, I tried to fill in the datasource with the correct credentials, but it returned an error as well
I tried to refresh the data in Power BI Desktop, and it worked fine, retrieving the latest data without any issues. However, when I publish and refresh in Power BI Service, the issue occurs. Can you please help me with this? It is a blocker for me, and any help would be appreciated 🙏.
Regards,
Dale

Hi @Anonymous
Here are some steps to resolve this issue:
1. Check OData Source Availability:
Ensure that the OData service URL is correct and that the service is available and accessible from the internet, as Power BI Service will need to access it remotely.
2. Gateway Configuration:
If your OData source requires a gateway for Power BI Service to connect, make sure that the gateway is properly installed, configured, and online. Also, check if the OData source is correctly added to the gateway with the appropriate credentials.
3. Credentials:
Double-check that the credentials used in Power BI Service to access the OData source are correct and have the necessary permissions.
4. Refresh the Credentials:
Sometimes, simply refreshing the credentials in Power BI Service can resolve connection issues. Go to the dataset settings in Power BI Service and update the credentials for the OData source.
