Power BI Report sharing with URL parameters

Hello there! First of all, thank you for this awesome product, it helps us a lot!

We've been working with Power BI for quite some time now, and we (especially me) are struggling to understand how to share reports with URL parameters. A little background - we have Google Analytics connected with our Power BI (premium). Our website is divided into multiple sections (towns), and we need to have unique reports for each section. Since we don't want to create each report for each town, we need to have a shareable link with parameters to have Power BI charts load with these parameters every time someone loads the report.

If anyone can give us a step by step instructions on how to achieve this, that would be awesome!

Thanks in advance!

It might be that you need to select a page in the report (the reportsection). If you click a page it will be highlighted in the URL also, after that, try to add the parts on the tenant (ctid) and your filters.

Thanks! I am still confused about how to make it work. For example, I can create (share) following link via PowerBI online and add some parameters:

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/552e2f82-d5fe-4c87-a39b-af43399a2285/reports/f0395d5f-aee7-4a48-9d4a-...

But it leads to this: This login.microsoftonline.com page can’t be found.

I noticed that I need to get a link with "ReportSection3". How do I get that link?

Thanks again!
