Hello!
I've searched these forums over and over and can not find a solution to this issue;
I have two charts, one is a line chart from 2018-2022; the other is a bar graph by categoy for the latest year.
I want my end user to be able to click a category and filter the line chart, but have the line chart still represent 2018 - 2022.
However when clicked BOTH the dates filter and the cateogry get passed though. Can I remove one of the fields passed through??

Create a calculated table that lists category sales filtered by 2022. Keep that table disconnected and use it to feed the left visual. Then create a measure that senses the FILTERS of the category column on that table and filters the right visual accordingly.
Got it, so the answer to my question is I can not pick and choose the filters to pass from one view to another, but by creating a measure that is just sales for 2022 I can get around that!
Thanks!
