Power BI Pro can auto refresh (every 1 min) all the report pages using Direct Query

Hi Team,

This question was asked previously and wanted to know on the latest versions 

I have used a direct query option to fetch data from the SQL server in to the Power BI.

Developed a report (2 pages) in the Power BI desktop and published to the Power BI Service.

I have used lot of calculated measures and applied transformations as well.

Questions:

• Can I perform a auto refresh on the all the report pages on Power BI service for every 1 min.If so, please help me on this.
• Can auto refresh will update the measures as well for every 1 min.?

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you use direct query your report is actual whenever you open it and send queries.

You only need a Data Gateway If you have datasources which are on premises.

After I set up the gateway connection, should I be able to auto refresh the report page for every one minute with power BI pro.

In  the power bi docs it says 

power bi pro had minimum auto refresh interval is 30 mins whereas 

power bi premium has 1 min .

So you are asking if there is a way to circumvent the license restrictions?

Raise the idea on the forum, and if enough Pro users agree then maybe Microsoft will change the terms.
