Power BI Pro Service Account

Capture.PNG

I am having a Power BI Pro account, which is managed by my organization.

But, if you see on the top its like "Pro trial: 44days left".

Now, my problem is how should I cancel this free trial account and signin with my organization account without losing any reports and dashboards in my account. Anyone please tell me ow to solve this problem.

Hi there,

For the license requirements through SharePoint is that every user who wants to view the Power BI Reports through SharePoint will require a Power BI Pro license.

Hi there

If it is on another email address, and it is all under your workspace, you will have to download all the PBIX files and then re-upload them again.

I would suggest not using My Workspace for the deployment of reports, but rather use App Workspaces within your organization. This would allow you to simply add the new email address as an Admin to an existing App Workspace.

I am having Pro trial account and organization account with same email address. Now , what should I do to join my organization account, by cancelling free trial.

Not only in My Workspace, I am having other workspaces which I created.

Hi there

If you have got a pro license then your Office 365 Admin should assign the Power BI Pro License to your account.

Once that is done you should log out and log back into Power BI and you should be ready to go with the Trial now removed.

My Office 365 Admin assigned the Power BI Pro License to my account. I logout from my account and signed in a Private browser. Still I am getting Pro Trial account on top.

Hi there, I'm sure it will resolve itself before the trial of ends

But, I need to embed my Power BI report into sharepoint. I embedded my Power BI Report in sharepoint and shared to other members in my organization, they are unable to see the report that I published in Sharepoint.

I am thinking this is because of the pro trial version of my service account. What should I do now, so that members of my organization can view the Power BI Reports that I shared through Sharepoint.
