Power BI Online Schedule refresh from Azure SQL Server

Question

I created a dashboard in Power BI Desktop that is connected to a Azure SQL Server Database and published it to Power BI Online.

I would like to schedule a refresh on this dataset. According to here: https://radacad.com/power-bi-get-data-from-azure-sql-database and several questions on this forum, I do NOT need have a gateway set up to schedule a refresh for my dataset.

However, in Power BI Online I am not given the option to schedule a refresh.

How do I refresh my dataset? Do I need a gateway set up?

What options do you see when you go into the dataset settings and then view the Scheduled Refresh options?

I actually can't see any optoins, it is grayed out.

It appears to me that whilst you have connected to Azure SQL you might not have put in the Azure SQL Connection correctly.
&nbsp;
When you connect to a cloud service you should see this option under Gateway which is what I have got for my Azure SQL DB
