Power BI Gateway has no errors and says refreshed but data not updated

Hi All,

I am completely stuck. I have a Power BI Gateway standard (not personal) setup which is connected to the source data and shows no errors and says the data is refreshed. However when i check the data it is not updated.

If i manually refresh it in desktop it updates the data correctly.

I have tried reuploading the report to the service but it still says refresh complete with no errors but the data is not updated.

Hi @BigBadBob ,

Is it possible to provide more information on screenshots, etc.? If successfully published and refreshed properly through the gateway, then the latest data will be displayed.
One thing to note is: what is your data source, are date related filters applied, etc.?

needs more details - what is the data source, do you use parameters, is the login the same between gateway and desktop?

Source - Postgres

Parameters - no

Login - Same

Enable advanced logging on the gateway cluster members and run another service refresh. Examine the logs.
