We recently changed out SAP BW hosting from an on premises VM to an Azure VM. With the move some latency was introduced to our data movement. Now we're periodically (50% of the time) seeing our datasets fail to refresh on reports that usually take 10 to 20 minutes to refresh. The following error is reported by the gateway:

I need to figure out where the connection is being reset. I've looked at the Gateway server, the firewall, the AV exceptions. They all see the connection closing but don't take credit. If it's in SAP BW there's no way to tell.
Hi, @RobertD
This generic error may not be related to PowerBI.
WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer...
It can be caused by a multitude of reasons.
1. Paramenters for timeouts may be set incorrectly.
2. The network has issues. (firewall ,routers, hubs, etc…)
3. connectivity problem in between Application Server and Database Server.
...
You'd better open a support ticket with MSFT/SAP engineer to check it, usually they will have better suggestions.
