I have searched far and wide for an answer on implementing data on Power BI and hope someone can help.
Do the Power BI EM SKUS (EM1-EM3) support Live Connection / Direct Query data connections? such as an Oracle or SQL Server database?
If they do not work, what is another option? scheduled refresh? that also seems like a lot of additional work.
We are looking to purchase an EM2 for our new SharePoint but if the real time function of Live Connection / Direct Query do not work, it will severly limit the value of this product.
Thanks!

HI @ehamrick,
The contents which premium users shared can be viewed without pro license. For reports which shared from other license, receiver also need pro license.

I guess the question then becomes: If my organization has an EM2 license which gives premium capacity to my report and that direct query report is shared on the Power BI App on SharePoint's web part modern page, will it work for other who want to only view the data?
