Power BI Copilot without Fabric

We've power BI reports with Synapse workspace rather than Fabric, could we enable power BI Copilot with those reports?  If so, P1 or higher license is required?

    Hi yongshao,

     

    Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

     

    No, Power BI Copilot requires a Fabric-enabled workspace to function, regardless of the license tier. A Power BI Premium P1 license alone will not enable Power BI Copilot unless the workspace is Fabric-enabled.

Hi yongshao 

 

As it stands today, you would need a power BI Premium P one or F64 to enable copilot. The good news is that there is a personal copilot license coming to fabric butch means you can license individual users to use co-pilot.
