Power BI - Connection to reports using AzureVPN
- 11 months ago
Hi sba_ur
If they cannot access it directly from the web, what this means potentially is that the workspace that they are using is allowed to access the public Internet. This can be configured by the network admin, so you would need to chat to the network admin to understand how they are connecting.

They are part of a workspace. They mentioned that they to access their Power BI reports, they used to require connecting to Azure VPN. However, they reached out recently asking if something was changed recently because they no longer need to connect to Azure VPN to load their reports. I am unsure how to troubleshoot this or fix it. Any ideas would be helpful. From what I understand is that the workspace admins can configure the connections to VNet. Report access is through Entra ID and goes through VNet gateway.
