I've created a new dataset and report for a dashboard, but now some (non-licenced) staff are getting a "permisssion required" error and are unable to view the reports. When I go to update the app, it says it is available to the entire organization and I did not explicitly restrict the reports to certain staff. I need many staff to be able to view the reports (not just one person), so adding in the viewers one at a time is not an feasible.
Any ideas as to how I can make my reports visible to anyone viewing the dashboard?
The dashboard has permissions granted to the entire organization. I've created one dataset with one report, but for some reason staff are seeing a "permission required" tile instead of the intended information from the report. We never had an issue with staff viewing pinned tiles from reports before.
Hi @stephreigh ,
What reports and datasets are the "Need Permissions" tiles from? Please go to "Manage Permissions" for datasets and reports to check if the user has viewing permissions for reports and datasets (not dashboards).

When I go in and check who has direct access, there are only a few people listed. Other reports which were pinned to the dashboard had the same users with direct access, but hundreds of other staff were still able to view the information on the tiles when they visited the dashboard. I am not able to add each of these 100+ viewers direct access to the data source, and I never had to in the past. Thoughts?
Hi @stephreigh ,
You can create a communication group or security group for your employees and then share the dataset (all datasets involved in the dashboard visual object) and check again if the dashboard is visible to the employees.

Hi @stephreigh ,
Do the tiles on your dashboard source one report or multiple reports? If it is multiple reports, make sure that the user has access to multiple reports. You can create a group to add all users and then assign the role of workspace viewer to that group. Alternatively, you can grant users individual access to reports.
