Hi there,
Is there a way to password protect reports when wanting to share to public users (non powerBI users?). I can't seem to see anything in the publishing options that would allow for this.
For example, I know in tableau you can create reports, then share with users behind a login, even if they don't have tableau. It seems like quite a basic feature that would be quite advantageous, but not simple to achieve in PowerBI.
The way I'd see this working would be the ability to create 'external collaborators' in the online report view. You could then give them a username/password and a link to access the report.
Any ideas much appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks @Greg_Deckler but my question is to share with people who don't have a PowerBI license.
I'm aware we can publish to web and anyone can view via the link, but this isn't secure. Ideally, we could password protect that public link.
You can share with any email address. They just need to have a Power BI Pro license unless you have Premium or Embedded capacity. If you use Publish to Web, anyone with the link can access it.
