POwer BI Service On demand data refresh error

I have published report from PBI Desktop to Service and when I try and do on demand data refresh it throws below error. The problem with the error message is not descriptive meaning it do not say whi...

hi smjzahid - Are you able to refresh the dataset in Power BI desktop? There could be a change in the column name in one of your data sources which at time could lead to this error - where the dataset is unable to find a column which was previously available in the data souce.

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    Thanks for your reply, Yes I can refresh in PBI Desktop (1 table at a time) meaning right clicking on individual table and selecting REFRESH DATA, that does work (but takes very long time) as my pbix file is quite huge currently it stands at 22,562 KB nearly (23 MB) in IMPORT mode. 

     

     

     

    Do we not have a way to find out which table has a problem, as the error thron is just on PBI Service not in Desktop, has anyone else encountered this, How do you manage to fix it.

     

    Please note I have got 28 tables in this pbix file which pulls data fro (PBI Dataflow, Sharepoint sites, Excel Online, Dataverse etc)

      hi smjzahid - As far as I am aware there is no easy way available to identify data load errors in the Service and I have not experienced the same on any of my engagements. 

      I will research on the same and let you know if I come across an efficient way to identify any data load errors and share my findings.
