PBI Licencing
Hello All
I am a quite new PBI user.
Could you please anyone help me to better understand the licence for PBI using?
I would like to provide PBI data dashboards for a retail chain (KPIs, sells, etc.)
I've created such dashboard in PBI free version. It is perfect. But I don't know if I can sell such solution to the client.
I could embed that dashboard to a corporate web. The access to the page is under password but the direct link still exists. The data could be confidential so I have to ensure the security. Moreover, it seems that this output in free version could be viewed or published by Microsoft.
On the client's side, there could be more users. Do I need more licences?
Maybe there is any licence overview or something similar?
I will be really thankful for your advice or recommendation.

Hi Petr1,
You would need a Power BI Pro license if:
- You want to share a report/dashboard with another user.
- You want to see report created by another user.

You used Publish to Web option I guess. I don't recommend this unsecured type of embedding. There is a possibility to embed Power BI report safe - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/integrate-report
