Hi Everyone,
We are healthcare organisation., uk based, PBI user 5+ years and have lots of PBI Apps, natually all with some pretty strict access permission.
Is there a way to surface ALL our apps, in "get apps" so people can see what is available, with the description etc., but not actually have any permissions to content.
at the moment we are having to keep a seperate list somewhere else with hyperlinks and copies of descriptions - its always out of date
Happy to consider paid for solutions...
Hi @flanshaw ,
Unfortunately, It is by design. There is no option to controll it now. You can submit an idea for it in Power BI Idea Forums to improve the power bi.
For now you can only write some brief description in the description field before Create App.
Or create a separate report and show each report page as a separate brief.
Hope it helps,

Hi. Am I correct in thinking users can ONLY see app descriptions of they have been given permissions to the app ??
Hi @flanshaw
There actually was a recent update to the Power BI Service called dataset hubs.
You can view more details here: Datasets discovery using the datasets hub - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Thanks for the response, but its not datasets we want our internal customers to "find" its the actual reports
