Open data model greyed out?
i will tell you the issue, in my workspace, it is not allowing to create a semantic model, so you have to either choose any other workspace for that semantic model to store(if you have permission to any other workspace, it will show in the drop down) or you have to create new one and choose that workspace, then you will get confirm option.
i did same in my workspace and trying to create semantic model , then it is asking to select any workspace and later selecting workspace, confirm option enabled. If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
Hi ptmuldoon - Verify if your organization has provisioned a Microsoft Fabric capacity or a Power BI Premium subscription. Contact your admin to check if additional licensing is required.Confirm with your Power BI administrator that you have been granted the necessary permissions on the workspace or Lakehouse. last , please check the workspace settings to ensure it is Fabric-enabled.
Test the feature with a Premium per User trial or verify the requirements for using Lakehouse in Power BI documentation.
Hope this details helps
