On-Premises Gateway - Restricting and Visibility

All, 

 

Can you guys think of a way to restrict the installation of gateways, Personal or Enterprise, on workstations? 

 

Also, can you guys think of a way to have visibility into which workstations have the gateway installed?

 

Currently, these features are not available, but we need some creative help in order to make this happen. 

 

Let me know your ideas/suggestions.

    Hi igordossantos,

     

    Currently, once we install and sign in both personal gateway and on-premise data gateway, the gateway will be available in My Workspace and group workspaces. For your requirement, you can post an idea in Power BI Ideas forum.
