On Prem & Azure database (online) gateway is greyed out

Hi, 

Can anyone explain why I can't refresh a report that uses an online data source & and on premise database via a gateway ? 

I can't even select a gateway (its al greyed out) for the on prem database?

Hi. If you have a dataset that contains online and local data. You can refresh part directly and part with gateway. The requirement for this is letting the gateway know that you might have data from online sources that the gateway shouldn't configure. The option is under "Manage gateways"

Once you have Apply this changes you should be able to configure the credentials as online source and schedule refresh.
