Office 365 Admin required to check Admin Portal :(

I love Power BI but the one thing that is really bothering me is that as a  BI person who wants to check the nitty gritty behind the scenes of the Power BI Service, i.e audit logs etc without having to go through relunctant Office 365 Administrators all the time - I have seen lots of this posted around the site of BI  folks with the same frustrations, who will never be given office 365 admin rights, yet i can't see if there is any plan by Microsoft to resolve this for the BI folks?

If I understand your concern correctly, you would like Power BI to have audit logs (along with some other admin features related with Power BI usage ) accessable for Power BI regular users, right?

Power BI Admin Portal would still need Office 365 Global admin rights, well I agree with that Power BI admin should not be the global admins, folks already submitted ideas on this, see:

If this is what you would like Power BI to have in the future, then please vote for it. : )

Another thing that I could think out currently, is that we could build a shared dashboard to share those contents, in case there are Power BI members concerning the logs.

@vanessafvg Check this out. It was updated yesterday and there are several ways shown for auditing.
