October 2024 Update not starting
Is anyone else experiencing an issue of the on-prem gateway service not starting when they install the October 2024 update to their on-premgateway?

As an alternative solution, you can choose to download the August version of the gateway, which works fine in Power BI Service.
The following is a test of the version released on October 25:
Please try restarting your gateway. In my test environment, it works fine after updating from the August version to the October 25 version.
If it still does not work properly in your environment, please roll back to the gateway version that is suitable for your environment. You can download the historical version from the link below.
