OLS + Dashboard

Hello,

I have an Azure Analysis Services model with a role applying OLS to my model.

The security is working fine, in Excel, in Power BI Desktop and in my reports in the service.

However, when pinning a tile to a dashboard, users who should not see the data are able to see it !

I didn't notice any restrictions about OLS and Dashboards.

Is someone facing same issue ?

Thanks for help,

Vince

You may need to set up separate permissions for the dashboard itself to ensure that only authorized users can view the data. You can do this by going to the dashboard settings and adjusting the permissions for each user or group.

Additionally, you may want to check if the users who are able to see the data have any other roles or permissions that are granting them access. It's possible that there may be a conflict between the OLS role and another role that is allowing them to see the data.
