Not able to refresh the data from synapse to PBI services using PBI Gateway

Hello All,
I am trying to refresh Power BI dataset once the load in datawarehouse id done. This is done using Azure API. But what I could observe, a table with Incremental refresh is not getting refreshed for todays date with this. And if I do manual refresh after sometimes that is I do the re-refresh for the same file, the data gets refreshed properly.
Also the same file if refreshed anytime during the day after the auto-refresh with API in morning hours, the data is properly refreshed. Unable to understand what could be the reason for same. Can someone help me with the same.
Has anyone faced such scenario.
