Not able to refresh in Power BI Service

Hi everyone. I have published a report on Power BI service but I'm getting a weird error when I try to refresh on Power BI Service. Can anyone help me solving this? All my sources are Excel.Workbook.

    1, Open sharepoint folder in power bi and connect the datasource.(or transform data --> advanced editor --> change the path from excel to sharepoint.
    2, publish it, Go to the dataset tab of the report
    3, Give creditials and signed in on Data source credentials
    4, Then refresh it 🙂

    Hi,

     

    Since Excel is on-premises, power bi needs a gateway to refresh. 

    Connect the data source to sharepoint and place the excel on it.refresh the dataset.

      Hi Anonymous , big thanks for reply. I'm relatively new to power bi or any other job for that matter. Can you please explain how do I do the steps which you explained.
