Not able to delete dataset

Hi Friends,
How come when I publish report from desktop
It's not able to include in app (Cannot even turn on it)
When I realize it was an error
How come I'm not able to delete the dataset as well ?
Kindly assist.

    Hi rainchong7401 ,

     

    For such problems, you can try the following options.

    1. Goto the workspace
    2. On top right click on eclipses (...)
    3. Select "Unpublish App"
    4. Now go to your dataset and delete and confirm
    5. Click on the workspace eclipses again
    6. Select Edit Workspace
    7. Publish app again

      

    Another option might be to duplicate your app as best as you can and thereby make a "backup" of sorts for yourself and then delete the dataset and see if it breaks the original one or not. My thinking there is that it might be a "ghost" where it was once in the App and the App still has a connection to it even if it is not being used.

     

    If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.

    Why would you want to DELETE the dataset, but not the REPORT that depends on it? Try deleting the REPORT first, then your dataset.
