Can't delete Fabric items no Delete option available

Dear All,

We have stopped using the Fabric Trial and are currently migrating to Premium Capacity. Due to a region-related issue, we were advised to delete all Fabric items before the workspace can be migrated.

However, we still have three Fabric items that do not show a Delete option. Even the owners of these items are unable to delete them. As the workspace administrator, I have full permissions to manage and remove workspace items, and we were able to successfully delete all other Fabric items without issue.

Could you please assist us in removing these remaining three items or advise on the appropriate steps to proceed?

    I Just want to update everyone that microsoft support able to help us with some tricked, In case this issue happens to you please reach out to them.

    Hi kirah2128 ,

     

    you can delete the monitoring Eventhouse in the workspace settings (see below).

      I appreciate your response but i think I no longer have that option. maybe because our fabric trial is already deleted,

        Hi kirah2128,

         

        ok got it. Is the workspace currently assigned to a F-SKU? If not, can you try to assign one and check if the option appears again to delete the eventhouse?

    I see someone's already giving you the answer. Something that can be helpful as well is that you can sync your Fabric workspaces in a Azure DevOps repo. In case you cannot delete an item from your Fabric workspace, try to do so in your Azure DevOps repo and then syncronize with Fabric 😉

      Hi AllisClaramunt,

      in general I agree. But as the items mentioned by kirah2128  are the workspace monitoring I can tell you that as of now they can not be synced to an ADO repo as these items are not supported to sync.
